La madre tiene hambre, ¿cómo se alimentará? In this lifetime, I see my practice as a series of offerings to support my own responsibility in taking care of the Earth. Usually, my work is inspired by interactions with nature, dreams and other cultural traditions. In my practice, I hope to instill or strengthen a re-remembering of old ways through performance; an invitation to dive deeper into lineage, traditions and cultural ways in order to find home and belonging. What would it mean for one's voice to move as medicine, as a tool for transformation and creation? I have spent the latter part of my artistic career working primarily in photography, video and text while feeling at home through performance.
