Associated with grief, yerba santa or ‘holy herb’ helps relieve a damp respiratory system by opening up the lungs and releasing waste or any build up. This plant is an expectorant and they are great for folks with asthma or bronchitis. The qualities of yerba santa are cooling and drying.

The yerba santa was gathered from trail trimmings during my work as an outdoor educator at a nature preserve in the Sonoran/Colorado desert. This batch was created and processed on the ancestral lands of the Cahuilla & Serrano people.

Ingredients

• Fresh leaves of Eriodyctiontrichocalyx (Yerba Santa) in grain alcohol & vodka

Use: shake well, take 1 dropper full to support your respiratory system when feeling ill or in those moments when you have some nasal drip. For grief support, take up to 5 drops and give yourself a moment to breath deeply and feel the capacity of your love. You are encouraged to serve in water, tea or directly under the tongue!

Shelf life: plant medicine extracted and preserved with alcohol can have a shelf life of multiple years. The alcohol batch can last one a long time as long as it is stored in a cool, dry place away from heat & sunlight.

Contraindications: Yerba Santa can be drying to some so it is best taken for damp conditions in the respiratory system such as a runny nose + stuffy lungs.
