Un ave en movimiento is one photograph of a series taken while working on one of the last remaining sand dune ecosystems in the Coachella Valley of Southern California in 2022. These performance self portraits were taken to accompany an essay I wrote for the Sierra Club titled ‘What the Winds Say’.

In summer of 2024 I printed a series of twenty of these images through a risograph machine at Risolana in Albuquerque. Each print is unique in nature and signed all while protected in a plastic art sleeve.
