Mugwort Elixir

from $12.00

There are many wonderful varieties of mugwort and in this elixir you will find notes of the common mugwort, western mugwort and a native California mugwort who I’ve often encountered in the desert canyons + forests that have helped raised me.

This elixir highlights plant allies that provide assistance in regulating bleeding cycles, support with digestive issues and dream work.

Mugwort - Anxious nerves can impact our digestion and bitter plants like mugwort help alleviate any tension that exists so that our systems can function with more ease. For dreaming, mugwort can help call in vivid dreams and due to their dual warming and bitter qualities can help bring back our spirit body when experiencing susto or fright from any sleep or dream related happenings; a great companion when used with skullcap. As someone who bleeds, I have incredible pain associated with my cycle and experienced irregular bleeding cycles when I was younger, of which mugwort has generously helped alleviate and regulate respectively.

Your Medicine: The common mugwort was grown, harvested & processed at my home in Portland, OR in 2017 on the ancestral lands of the Cowlitz, Clackamas, Confederates Tribes of Grand Ronde & the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. In addition, the California mugwort was grown in my family’s garden, then harvested & processed in my home in Morongo Valley in late Spring of 2024, on the ancestral lands of the Cahuilla & Yuhaviatam/Maarenga’yam people.
